Since our very beginning, every step we have taken has been key to building what we are today. Discover the most important moments of our trajectory:

1990

First steps in Chile

The project to promote the commercial use of non-exported fruit begins. Empresas Iansa starts production of juice concentrates and transforms the abundance into an opportunity.

1995

Start of operations in Ica

In September of that year we started operations in Ica, Peru, where we began producing tomato paste.

2000

The merger

The vision of expansion and efficiency materialized with the creation of Patagoniafresh Chile S.A., a strategic merger between Empresas Iansa and Cargill.

2008

New start

Patagoniafresh S.A. is born after the incorporation of Jucosa S.A. as a shareholder, consolidating economies of scale for sustainable growth in Chile.

2012

Strategic growth

Empresas Iansa acquires all of Patagoniafresh, reaffirming its commitment to feed the world with the best of our land and positioning itself as a leader in the agribusiness sector in Chile.

2016

World-class standards

We achieved FSSC 22000 certification at our plant in Ica, Peru, guaranteeing the highest standards of food safety and strengthening the confidence of our customers worldwide.

2017

Vertical integration

We began to manage tomato production in our own fields in Ica, Peru, in order to achieve traceability and greater control in our value chain.

2018

Diversification

We inaugurated the tomato paste plant in Molina, Chile, where we started production of tomato paste and fruit pulp. And in Ica, Peru, we added fresh yellow onion to our portfolio, expanding our offer to the global market.

2021

Expansion

We incorporated a second pulp production line in Molina, Chile, operating fruit and tomato paste in parallel. With this, we innovated in vegetable pulps and adjusted our production strategy.

2022

We climb

We doubled our production capacity in our tomato paste line in Molina, Chile, to meet our customers' growing demand.

2024

Ethical commitment

We achieved SMETA international certification, reflecting our ethical and socially responsible practices in Ica, Peru.

2025

Sustainable leadership

Sustainability has become our standard with the FSA certification in Chile and Global GAP in Peru, which endorses our good management.
